Sept. 19

September 19, 2007

It was colder today in the pre-dawn hours than it has been since probably March.  The Fall equinox is nearing and you can feel it, you know?  The clouds in the morning glowed pink.   Rising above the fog, Mt. Tamalpais looked like an island in the sea.  We picked some 10 tons of Cabernet Franc and another couple of Malbec.  It stayed too hazy for me to get a good look at the skyline of San Francisco, but maybe that was the grape juice and dirt smeared into the scratches of my now year-old glasses.
